WrenchDay Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Monthly subscription terms, Stripe processing, usage add-ons, failed payments, cancellation, refunds, and founding-shop terms.

1. Subscription pricing

The WrenchDay Standard plan is $150 per month unless a different written agreement applies. Each Usage Boost add-on is $39 per month and adds the published allowance block to an eligible Standard subscription.

Pricing may change for future customers or renewals with reasonable notice, subject to applicable law and any written commitment.

2. Billing and payment processing

Subscriptions, usage add-ons, payment-method updates, billing portal access, and invoice history are processed through Stripe. Stripe terms, taxes, processor fees, payment-method rules, and payment-processing timelines may apply.

The customer authorizes recurring charges for the selected subscription and add-ons until canceled.

3. Failed payments and access restrictions

If a payment fails, is disputed, becomes past due, or cannot be processed, WrenchDay may show a past-due paywall, disable paid capabilities, suspend provider-backed functions, or transition an eligible account to Free Starter limits until payment is restored. Access to a Free Starter workflow remains subject to the applicable Free Starter limits, feature availability, account status, and security controls.

The customer remains responsible for charges incurred before cancellation or suspension.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Customers may cancel through the billing portal or another supported process. Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable and cancellation stops future renewal charges rather than refunding prior periods.

WrenchDay may choose, at its discretion, to provide credits or refunds for billing errors, duplicate charges, or exceptional circumstances.

5. Founding-shop offer

If WrenchDay offers a founding-shop or design-partner promotion, the eligibility, duration, covered features, limits, support scope, and any reduced WrenchDay transaction-fee commitment will be documented in writing for each participating shop.

Stripe or other processor fees may still apply even where WrenchDay reduces or waives its own transaction fee.

6. Transaction fees on customer payments

In addition to subscription fees, WrenchDay charges a platform transaction fee of 1.5% of the total amount of each online invoice payment processed through the shop's connected Stripe account. The fee is collected automatically as a Stripe application fee when the payment settles and is deducted before payout to the shop.

Stripe's own processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per standard US card transaction) apply separately and are set by Stripe, for a combined processing cost of 4.4% + $0.30 per transaction. Shops may configure whether this combined cost is absorbed into their listed prices or added at checkout as a disclosed card-processing fee paid by the vehicle owner.
